Keno Way Tickets
Some people may try and lead you to believe that a Keno Way ticket is just another way for the casino to make more money from you in one go. Others argue that it is a more convenient way of playing more than one game at a time. Basically a Keno Way ticket allows you to bet in a number of different ways on the same ticket. For example if you want to bet on four numbers only, which is known as a four spot bet, you can do this on a way ticket.
Each four spot bet that you place is considered a separate bet and costs the unit price that you are betting. So if you choose four different four spot numbers and bet $1 on each then you have a total cost of $4. The advantage of betting this way is that you actually have more chances of winning in less time. Each four spot bet is considered as if it is a separate Keno Straight ticket but actually they are all on the same ticket. Basically you are playing multiple games on one keno ticket.
Keno Combination Tickets
A more advanced version of the keno way tickets are combination tickets where the original four spot ways that you chose can now be combined together. A combination ticket is basically a mix and match of all of the options you have chosen. In other words if you have three four way spots then you can take numbers from each of the spots and combine them with numbers from the other spots. For example, if you have chosen 2,3,4,5 and 7, 8,9,10 and 45,46,47,48. You can mix and match all of these numbers to give you different combinations i.e. you could do 2,7,45 or 3,8,46 and so on. In addition to the different combinations you choose, you still have your original way ticket numbers marked. The number of combinations you choose is entirely up to you and the budget you have available.
Each different keno combination bet is also considered a unit bet and therefore the cost is the unit bet that you have chosen. But, if any of your numbers are hit in a combination or way bet, you are paid out separately for each type of win. In other words, each bet may cost a unit bet but also the winnings are worked out according to the individual separate bet. When playing a keno combination ticket, you have more chances of winning in one ticket that when playing a straight or way ticket, making it one of the more popular ways to bet when playing real money Keno at casinos.
