Keno Variations
Keno, as some may believe, is not just a game of lottery. It is an exciting game of numbers and luck where many different variations have been devised to enhance the game experience. The Original Keno Variations
The original Keno variations date back many years to the Chinese immigrants who would play a game after a hard day's work on the railroad. Keno moved to the land based casinos, where players used tickets and crayons to mark their numbers. A player could buy one ticket and play a simple game with this ticket by marking off numbers and waiting for the numbers to be called. This is known as a straight ticket. Combination tickets are tickets where you can place your bets in groups i.e. three numbers in each group and then your numbers are interchanged to make different groups. For example if you have groups A, B and C. Then you can bet on each group separately, all of them together and then A with C, A with B, B with C and so on. King tickets are like combination tickets but one of the numbers is a single number. Top and bottom, left and right and edge tickets are exactly as they sound, placing bets in different locations around the tickets.
Modern Keno Variations
Keno variations are not just limited to the different types of tickets that there are. Video Keno developed in land-based casinos. It is a version of Keno that is played one-on-one at a computer console. These computer-like consoles can be found together with Slot machines and Video Poker machines at the entrances of the casinos.
As online casinos developed, so did the different types of Keno games that were available. There are now many ways to play keno online for real money. Aside from the standard online Keno, there are also different keno variations online that can be played. Online Keno is very well laid out and easy to follow and the rewards are immediate.
